Kamrul Hsan
About
Mr. Kamrul Hsan is a public health specialist, researcher and development worker. He completed his BSc. (Hon’s) and MS in Public Health and Informatics from Jahangirnagar University, Savar, Dhaka-1342, Bangladesh. He is experienced in the management of research and development projects, MEAL, data collection and analysis. In addition, he is proficient in developing research proposal, writing report and article, and publication. He has more than five years of working experience at several research and development organizations in Bangladesh. His works focused on primary healthcare, health emergencies, humanitarian health, reproductive and child health, health promotion, and infectious diseases. Besides, he has a remarkable working experience in the area of humanitarian health and refugee healthcare. He worked on different projects in the Rohingya refugee camps related to WASH promotion, and prevention and control of HIV, Diphtheria, and Varicella outbreaks. He had been awarded ‘Young Researchers Fellowship-2019’ by WaterAid Bangladesh. He investigated infection prevention practices in 128 community clinics in Bangladesh under this fellowship program. Sixteen of his research articles were published in different international journals of reputed publishers including, The Lancet, Elsevier, Springer Nature, Frontiers, IWA Publishing etc.
